Object / Art / Specimen at the University of Sydney’s Chau Chak Wing Museum brilliantly interweaves historic cedar specimen cabinets from the 1890s with contemporary steel-framed designs, creating a multi-dimensional experience that navigates six evocative themes from 'Sex, love, death' to 'Performance, ritual, belief', all while highlighting key artworks through a captivating 'Sky painting' lacquered finish.
